This reinforced concrete watering tank is designed to be buried in the ground for year round service. It works below a pond or on a well. The 3/4" inlet is located at the rear of the single tank and on the side of a double tank. The inlet is regulated by a brass valve and float. The tank is equipped with a 1 1/2" overflow pipe and valve which can be used to adjust water flow through the tank to help prevent freezing during extremely cold weather. This waterer is designed with the valve above water for easy float adjustment and also does not allow water to siphon out. The valve and float compartment are insulated with 1 1/2" dow board and has an aluminum cover held on by two stainless steel bolts for easy access. Requires no electricity or gas to operate. The tank is also approved for dairy cattle.
